ABOUT US

'Fjaka' is Dalmatian slang for 'relaxing, getting in a state of mind where you feel like doing nothing'. Our well designed apartments form a quiet oasis in the middle of buzzing Hvar town. In love with Croatia and Hvar since the first time we came, we created our apartments with respect for the environment and influenced by the simplicity and natural beauty of the island. Our apartments all have their own private outside space, a modern functional kitchen, adjustable hotel beds, bathrooms with Moroccan tiles and floors made of French beton ciré.

The four apartments can be booked seperately (2 persons) or combined, to provide accommodation for 2, 4, 6 or 8 people.

ABOUT HVAR

ABOUT HVAR

hvar-1.jpg

Long, lean Hvar is vaguely shaped like a snake, or even the profile of a holidaymaker reclining on a sun lounger, which is altogether appropriate for the sunniest spot in the country (2724 sunny hours each year) and its most luxurious beach destination.

Hvar Town offers elegant restaurants, famous beach bars and a general sense that, if you care about seeing and being seen, this is the place to be. Still, Hvar town is a destination for everybody, from yachting families to young couples and keeps a charm that reminds of the Mediterrenean as it once was. However, outside the buzzing months of July and August, Hvar is still a tranquil and lovely place to hike, bike, swim, read a book and just stroll along the long waterfront.

Hvar's interior hides abandoned ancient hamlets, craggy peaks, vineyards and the lavender fields that the island is famous for. The island is worth a stay of at least a day or three, but better take a full week to explore the sunniest and most stylish island of the Adriatic.

GUEST REVIEW

“Hvar is an extremely beautiful island, but it is hard to find quality accommodation. Fjaka Hvar is a very well-designed oasis in the middle of burstling Hvar town, at a fair price.”
